Myself Mr. Adinath Tukaram Ombale (Dada), I belong to a small farmer family group. Though being from small farmer’s family group I completed my Graduation in B.Com. Being from a small village called Kedambe started an NGO called “Shramik Janata Vikas Sanstha” in the Jaoli Block for the Livelihood upliftment of the Small Farmers, Tribal Development and Women Empowerment. We are working in this block since from last 30 plus years. NGO has trained 25 plus youths in Tapola near Mahabaleshwar for how to do Agro Tourism in their farm. Now their is a big Agro Tourism Industry in Tapola. We also feel proud of our village due to the name of our village has been written in the history due to our “brave Police Officer Shahid Tukaram Omble“. Yes, who caught the Ajmal Kasab alive by taking 26 bullets on his chest in the 26/11 attack on Mumbai in 2008. While doing the Social Service the thought came in my mind and our family that, why don’t we build an Agro Tourism at our own farm. So, there comes our Venna Agro Tourism, which is located at the bottom of the Mahabaleshwar just 20KM. Also got an opportunity to go overseas for study of organic farming in Switzerland. Those practices are being implemented at our Venna Agro Tourism. Agro Tourism is the concept in which tourist or travelers are welcome to stay at farmers home in the farm with all the basic facilities at the farm to stay and enjoy the lifestyle of the farmers.
Hello myself Amit Adinath Ombale, as our father Adinath Ombale above said that we started our Venna Agro Tourism to welcome the guests from the nearest cities like Pune and Mumbai where they can learn the village lifestyle and get the knowledge of farming and other flora fauna around the farm. Being working in IT industry in Pune, the thought was why not use my skills to do Marketing of our Agro Tourism. As a whole family we are one and have different skill sets with each of us, which we decided to use them to develop, grow and give a better hospitality to our guests visiting Venna Agro Farm near Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani. The farm is away from the crowded area well equipped with all the basic facilities to serve our guests.
Hello myself Sujit Adinath Ombale, as Amit Dada said we are one family with different skill sets, we took the individual responsibilities to make our Venna Agro Tourism a better place to our guests. As I have completed my Agriculture Degree, took the responsibility of all the management at farm house right from the agricultural activities. I do talk to guests who call us for booking purpose and explain them the itinerary of their journey. The whole garden at our agro farm is being developed by ourself. We have planted different kind of fruiting plants in and around our agro farm, which will yet take time for fruiting. We have developed this agro tourism gardening and plantation in a huge pandemic of COVID-19 just in 10 months. We are confident that our place is for getting relaxed from day to day lifestyle of the busy working days. Even you can come and do work from farm, where you can take a corner in the farm under the Mango or Jammun tree and work relaxed. As our mother looks after all Kitchen Management and serves you the home made food with love.
